We Believe All Accidents
Are Preventable.

We have created a written safety policy to govern all company operations. It is a condition of employment with WIMCO that all employees abide faithfully to the requirements of this policy, as well as the safety rules, instructions, and procedures issued in conjunction with it. All visitors to any WIMCO project sites, including but not limited to suppliers, owner representatives, agents of the architect or engineer, regulatory authorities and insurance company representatives, shall be required to follow all WIMCO and OSHA safety regulations in effect during their visit.

It is a condition that all parties involved in subcontract agreements and/or purchase orders with WIMCO adhere to the safety policy and all safety rules, as well as applicable federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations. Failure to comply is a breach of contract terms.

WIMCO makes every effort to ensure that the operations of other contractors not under our control do not endanger the safety of our employees. All employees are required to report unsafe activities of other contractor employees to appropriate WIMCO officials.

WIMCO is committed to providing training and oversight to focus on safety and requires ongoing drug testing. Every supervisor is required to attend at least 15 hours of safety training each year. The safety director, superintendent, foremen and all employees have the full support of management in enforcing the provisions of this policy as it relates to responsibilities assigned to them.
