We have created this written policy to govern all company operations. It is a condition of employment with WIMCO Corp that all employees abide faithfully to the requirements of this policy, as well as the safety rules, instructions, and procedures issued in conjunction with it.
All visitors to any WIMCO Corp project sites including but limited to suppliers, owner representatives, agents of the architect or engineer, regulatory authorities and insurance company representatives shall be required to follow all WIMCO and OSHA safety regulations in effect during their visit.
It is a condition that all parties involved in subcontract agreements and/or purchase orders with WIMCO Corp adhere to this policy and all safety rules, as well as applicable federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations. Failure to comply is a breach of contract terms.
WIMCO Corp will make an effort to ensure that the operations of other contractors not under our control do not endanger the safety of our employees. All employees are required to report unsafe activities of other contractor employees to appropriate WIMCO Corp officials.
WIMCO is committed to providing training and oversight to focus on safety and requiring on-going drug testing.
The safety director, superintendent, foremen and all employees have the full support of management in enforcing the provisions of this policy as it relates to responsibilities assigned to them.
